The FFL Checkout plugin FFL Checkout by the Texas Technology Group connects FFLs.com to the WooCommerce checkout process for items requiring an FFL.

It provides customers with an easy-to-use search tool that includes a map and a zip code search. We have access to the most accurate data and the most up-to-date database of FFL, complete with PDFs if they are verified. We used the most advanced address look-up software to provide accurate FFL locations for the customer. FFLs are either verified or not. If they are, we have the PDF and all the information on file ready to be downloaded from FFLs.com.

In addition to helping customers through the FFL selection and checkout process, we also built tools for the dealer to optimize their fulfillment process. On the order details page, you will see an FFL Download link, connecting you to FFLs.com and allowing you to download the FFL. We also provided a quick and easy ezCheck link to verify the data instantly.

What is an FFL?

A Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) is an individual or a business entity that has obtained a license from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), a U.S. Department of Justice branch. How the Plugin Works

When a product has the FFL required option enabled, the FFL checkout block will be displayed to the client during the checkout process. The client can choose an FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder. The admin can later view the chosen FFL details, verified using the FFLS.com API, using the order details.

Bulk Update Products to be FFL Required

To bulk update products to be marked as FFL required, navigate to the product management section of your WordPress admin dashboard. Select the products you wish to update, choose the bulk action to edit, and set the FFL required option.
